As of September 1, 2025, Vietnam shut down more than 86 million bank accounts that were deemed inactive or non-compliant with the new biometric rules. Vietnam’s new banking system now requires mandatory biometric authentication for customer account validation, a move initiated by the State Bank of Vietnam. Without digital compliance, these people no longer have access to their own money. New Study: No Decline In Arctic Sea Ice Extent - ‘No Long-Term Trend’ - Since 2007

In 2007 Al Gore won a Nobel Peace prize for predicting summer (September) Arctic sea ice would “vanish” in the next 5 to 7 years, or by 2014.

Since 2007 Arctic sea ice extent (SIE) losses have ceased. Instead, the SIE trend has been stable for nearly two decades (Stern, 2025).

Mexico Moves Closer To Biometric ID - Will The People Comply?

As of Thursday July 17th, several new laws went into effect in Mexico which are likely to greatly increase the push towards a digital surveillance state.

The Mexican government says these new laws are aimed at fighting organized crime, drug trafficking, and helping with the search for missing people. The government has also argued that controversial changes to the nation’s telecommunications laws are designed to bridge the so-called “digital divide”, referring to the limited access to internet and cellular service in rural areas compared to urban environments.
